Cleaning fascia boards: Trespa & Wood as good as new with Eagle Extend®
Why a ladder is a thing of the past.
Green deposits, cobwebs, and street dirt: your fascia boards and overhangs take a lot of wear and tear. Cleaning them is often a difficult task because they're located in hard-to-reach places, such as under the eaves or near a dormer window. Standing on a rickety ladder with a bucket of soapy water is not only strenuous but also dangerous. That's why many people put off cleaning fascia boards , resulting in wood rot or a weathered look.
Want your house to look its best again? Stay safe on the ground. With the Eagle Extend telescopic handle, you can safely clean your woodwork, plastic, and Trespa from the ground, with results like those of a professional cleaning company.
Why clean fascia boards with Eagle Extend?
Whether you have wooden, synthetic (Trespa), or Keralit fascia boards, regular maintenance significantly extends their lifespan. A standard broom is too hard and can scratch, while a cheap telescopic handle often wobbles too much to apply pressure to stubborn green deposits. Eagle Extend® is specifically designed for this job:
- Safe for paint and plastic: Our brushes, such as the Five-Panel Wash Brush , are equipped with soft fibers. These effectively remove algae and dirt without leaving scratches on your paintwork or Trespa panels.
- Scrubbing Power Through Stability: Sometimes you need to apply pressure to remove dirt. Our Aluminum Supreme andCarbon Fiber telescopic poles are extremely stiff and won't bend. This transfers your force directly to the dirt.
- HexaLock® Protection: You don't want a brush spinning while working under an overhang. Our HexaLock® adapter secures the brush securely, allowing you to easily reach the underside of the gutter and the narrow edges.
- Reach every corner: With lengths of up to 12 meters, you can effortlessly reach the highest gables and dormers, simply from the driveway.
Calculation example: You earn back your handle yourself
Hiring a painter or cleaning company to clean fascia boards and dormers can easily cost between €150 and €250 per session (including scaffolding/elevating work platform costs). Purchasing a professional Eagle Extend set is a one-time investment.
Result: After just one or two cleaning sessions, you'll have recouped the cost of the handle. You can also use the handle for window cleaning and solar panel cleaning .

Step-by-step plan: Cleaning fascia boards and overhangs in 4 steps
With the right preparation, cleaning your windows is safe and effective. Follow this plan for a streak-free result.
Step 1
Pre-treat & Soap
Flushing surfaces are often greasy due to soot and algae. Water alone is often not enough. Use the SoapFlow soap dispenser between your faucet and the handle. Fill it with our All-Purpose Cleaner . This cleaning agent is specially formulated to loosen atmospheric pollution and green deposits without damaging the surface.
Step 2
Extend the telescopic handle
Stand the Eagle Extend® telescopic handle upright and extend it to the desired height. The SureLock clamps prevent the handle from collapsing. Preferably use the Five-Panel Wash Brush ; the bristles on the sides prevent the hard block from bumping your paintwork.
Step 3
Brushing & Foaming
Turn on the faucet and activate the soap dispenser. Apply a layer of foam to the fascia boards and let it sit briefly (don't let it dry!). Then scrub the surface thoroughly. The stiff handle allows you to apply sufficient pressure to remove stubborn residue.
Tip: Don't forget the underside of the overhang, as spider webs often hang there.
Step 4
Rinse clean
Turn off the soap supply and rinse the woodwork or plastic with clean water. Because fascia boards are not transparent (like glass), using lime-free water is less crucial, but for the best results (and if you're also cleaning the windows), we recommend the PureFlow Water Softener .

Five-Pad Wash Brush: A favorite for woodwork. Because the bristles are all around (including on the sides), you can work in corners and along edges without the hard plastic of the brush damaging your paintwork.
All-around cleaner: Essential for fascia boards. Dissolves soot, fine dust, and green deposits. Safe for paint, Trespa, and Keralit.
