Is your patio or driveway covered in a slippery layer of green deposits, moss, or stubborn black stains? While a pressure washer may seem like a quick fix, it often causes irreparable damage to your paving and joints. With the Eagle Extend system and the hard-wearing HexaLock® scrub brush, you're choosing a safe and effective alternative to patio cleaning. Get your garden tiles, decking, or driveway looking like new again, without the disadvantages of high pressure.

Discover how to clean your patio yourself while preserving your joints, without splinters on your deck and with a result that stays clean for longer.

Why clean your patio without a high-pressure cleaner?

Pressure washing your patio seems effective, but it has three major drawbacks: it destroys the top layer of the tile, removes the sand between the joints, and ensures that algae will return even faster the next time.

  • Don't damage joints: Brushing instead of spraying retains the sand between the joints . This prevents subsidence and wobbly tiles.
  • No damage to the top layer: High pressure makes tiles porous. Our brushing method cleans a patio without causing damage , so dirt is less likely to re-adhere.
  • Cleaning decking without splinters: With wooden or composite decking, high pressure tears apart the wood fibers. Brushing prevents splinters and extends the life of your woodwork.
  • Chemical-free cleaning: Using the mechanical power of our hard brushes and just water (or a biological cleaner), you can remove algae from your patio in an environmentally friendly way.

Step-by-step plan: Cleaning garden tiles in 5 steps

Follow this plan for a thorough cleaning of your paving or decking:

Shop SoapFlow Soap Dispenser

Step 1: Remove coarse dirt

First, sweep all loose leaves and twigs off the patio. This prevents the bristles from becoming clogged with dirt unnecessarily quickly.

Step 2: Pre-rinse

Connect the telescopic handle with the stiff brush to the garden hose. Rinse the patio thoroughly to soften the green deposits and moss.

Step 3: Soaping (Optional)

Use the SoapFlow Dispenser with a mild cleaner for extra stubborn dirt or black stains. Apply the soapy water and let it sit for 5 minutes (do not let it dry).

Step 4: Scrubbing

Turn on the water supply and use the hard 4-jet brush . Use gentle, scrubbing motions. The hard bristles pull dirt and algae from the tile pores, while the jets rinse the dirt away immediately.

EXTRA: Five-Panel Wash Brush: A favorite for woodwork and window frames. Because the bristles are all around (including on the sides), you can work in corners and along edges without the hard plastic of the brush damaging your paintwork.
