Step-by-step plan: Professionally clean solar panels in 4 steps
With the right preparation, washing your panels is safe and effective. Follow this plan for maximum efficiency and streak-free results.
Step 1
The Right Time & The Basics
Preferably choose a cloudy day , or clean early in the morning or late in the evening. Why? When the sun shines brightly, the dark panels become very hot. The water and cleaning solution then evaporate too quickly, even before you can rinse. This causes stains and rings. Then connect the garden hose. Want the panels to dry without white limescale rings? Then place our PureFlow Water Softener Dual Unit between the faucet and the telescopic handle. This filter removes limescale from the water, so you'll be working with 100% pure water.
Step 2
Extend the telescopic handle
Stand the Eagle Extend® telescopic handle upright and extend it to the desired length. Thanks to the orange SureLock clamps and the AlignTrack V-groove, this is smooth and the segments won't rotate accidentally. Attach the brush with the HexaLock® adapter; this ensures the brush is securely fastened and won't accidentally hit your delicate panels.
Step 3
Soap with Solar Cleaner
Bird droppings, fine dust, and pollen form a greasy layer that's difficult to remove with water alone. So use our Solar Cleaner . This professional cleaner loosens the dirt but is safe for the coating and the aluminum frame.

Step 4
Brushing & Streak-Free Rinsing
Turn on the tap. The 4-Jet brush vigorously distributes the water (and cleaner) across the panel. Gently brush from top to bottom with the soft PolyFlex bristles; you don't need to press hard. Finished brushing off the dirt? Lift the brush slightly and rinse the panel. Using the PureFlow Water Softener ? The purified water evaporates completely streak-free, leaving no limescale.
