Cleaning solar panels: Increase your efficiency immediately with Eagle Extend®

Why rainwater isn't enough. Many solar panel owners think a rain shower will simply clean the panels. Unfortunately, that's a myth. Bird droppings, particulate matter, pollen, and green deposits form a stubborn layer over time that blocks sunlight. The result? A loss of efficiency that can reach as much as 15% to 20% per year .

Want to maximize your energy output? Then you'll need to wash. But don't risk the risk of climbing a ladder. With the Eagle Extend telescopic pole, you can safely clean your solar panels from the ground, with professional-quality results.

Why clean solar panels with Eagle Extend?

Solar panels are fragile. The wrong brush or a wobbly handle can scratch the special coating or the glass, which actually reduces yield. Eagle Extend® is specifically designed for this task:

  • 100% Scratch-Free with PolyFlex: Cheap brushes use stiff, recycled bristles that can scratch. Our 4-Jet Brush is equipped with PolyFlex fibers . These are gentle enough for your panels, yet strong enough to loosen stubborn dirt.
  • Protection through HexaLock® Control : You don't want a heavy brush suddenly turning and hitting the frame or glass. Thanks to our HexaLock® adapter , the brush is securely held at the correct angle.
  • No hose hassles: Thanks to Full Internal Flow , the hose runs through the handle. So it won't drag on your delicate panels during washing.
  • Reach every corner: With our stiff poles (choice of Aluminum or Carbon ) and lengths of up to meters, you can effortlessly reach the top row of panels without the telescopic pole bending.

Cleaning solar panels can easily cost €100 per session. Purchasing a professional Eagle Extend set is a one-time investment. Result: After 2 or 3 washes, you'll have recouped the cost of the pole. After that, every wash is a real win for your wallet.

Step-by-step plan: Professionally clean solar panels in 4 steps

Step 1

The Right Time & The Basics
Preferably choose a cloudy day , or clean early in the morning or late in the evening. Why? When the sun shines brightly, the dark panels become very hot. The water and cleaning solution then evaporate too quickly, even before you can rinse. This causes stains and rings. Then connect the garden hose. Want the panels to dry without white limescale rings? Then place our PureFlow Water Softener Dual Unit between the faucet and the telescopic handle. This filter removes limescale from the water, so you'll be working with 100% pure water.

Step 2

Extend the telescopic handle
Stand the Eagle Extend® telescopic handle upright and extend it to the desired length. Thanks to the orange SureLock clamps and the AlignTrack V-groove, this is smooth and the segments won't rotate accidentally. Attach the brush with the HexaLock® adapter; this ensures the brush is securely fastened and won't accidentally hit your delicate panels.

Step 3

Soap with Solar Cleaner
Bird droppings, fine dust, and pollen form a greasy layer that's difficult to remove with water alone. So use our Solar Cleaner . This professional cleaner loosens the dirt but is safe for the coating and the aluminum frame.
Tip: Use the SoapFlow soap dispenser. Fill it with the Solar Cleaner.

Step 4

Brushing & Streak-Free Rinsing
Turn on the tap. The 4-Jet brush vigorously distributes the water (and cleaner) across the panel. Gently brush from top to bottom with the soft PolyFlex bristles; you don't need to press hard. Finished brushing off the dirt? Lift the brush slightly and rinse the panel. Using the PureFlow Water Softener ? The purified water evaporates completely streak-free, leaving no limescale.

Solar Cleaner: Many household cleaners (like all-purpose cleaner) leave a greasy residue that actually attracts fresh dust. Our Solar Cleaner cleans deeply, rinses away completely, and helps maintain your efficiency.

PureFlow Water Softener: Regular tap water contains lime and minerals. When this dries in the sun, white spots form that further block sunlight. With PureFlow, you prevent this and get the most out of your panels.
