Quick Start

Congratulations on your purchase! You now own a professional telescopic cleaning system. Follow the steps below carefully for safe use and maximum results. Also check our frequently asked questions for more answers.

1. Unpack and Check

Open the packaging carefully. Check that the handle, brush, hose, and accessories (such as the SoapFlow Dispenser) are present and undamaged.

Let op: Please report any damage before using the handle, otherwise you will lose your right to a replacement.

2. Adjusting the Clamps (SureLock)

Check the tension of the clamps on the stem.

  • Test: Slide a segment out a bit and close the clamp. Push against it. Does the stem slide back?
  • Action: Use the supplied Allen key to tighten the clamps slightly until the stem is rock solid.
Let op: Always respect the red MAX marking on the stem segments. Never extend the stem beyond this line to prevent breakage.

3. Feed through the water hose

Insert the thin water hose through the bottom of the stem, through the opening in the GroundGuard (the protective cap).

  • Push the hose through until it comes out of the top, thinnest segment.

4. Installing the Brush (HexaLock)

Click the 35cm Soft 4-Jet Wash Brush onto the black adapter on top of the handle (the HexaLock system).

Tip: This may be a bit stiff the first few times, both when clicking in and out. This is normal. The system is designed with tight tolerances (a tight fit) to prevent play and breakage during operation.

5. Connecting the Hose

Attach the water hose to the brush connector.

  • Installation: Press the water hose firmly into the coupling until you feel a click or until it is secure.
  • Disassembly: Push in the black ring of the coupling and pull out the hose at the same time.

6. Connecting the SoapFlow Dispenser

Click the thin water hose from the handle into the outlet of the SoapFlow dispenser.

Connect your garden hose (Gardena coupling) to the inlet of the dispenser.

Filling: Fill the reservoir with the supplied CleanStart cleaning agent.

Operation: Turn the dial to 'SOAP' to lather and to 'WATER' to rinse.

7. Extend and Use

Place the handle with the GroundGuard on the ground.

  1. Always start with the top (thinnest) segment .
  2. Slide this up away from you to the desired length (stay below the MAX line).
  3. Tighten the clamp.
  4. Repeat this with the next segment. Why? This keeps the weight as low as possible, which ensures the best balance and least strain on your back.

8. Cleaning & Storage

Rinse the brush thoroughly with clean water after use.

Allow the handle and hose to dry before retracting, if possible.

Always store the set in a dry and clean place. Moisture in a retracted handle can cause a vacuum or oxidation (with aluminum) over time.

Have fun working with your Eagle Extend!
